Made In USA Warehouse --- 2009!

Made In USA Warehouse would like to wish everyone a prosperous and happy 2009! Now that the Holiday Season is over and the economic data is being delivered at a feverish rate it is time to consider what we can do individually, as a family and country to assist with the economic decline. Made In USA Warehouse has spent considerable time and effort to find companies within the United States that manufacture products within our borders. Although some companies claim they build products within the United States it is more important to find which products at each company are produced here. Some resources provide lists of companies that make products within the United States but it is much more difficult to find specifically which products. This investment of time and money is easily made available to every American by using www.MadeInUSAWarehouse.com . We continue to work hard to provide a complete list and also carefully price each product to be affordable. Our goal is to get every American to choose Made In USA Warehouse first and then move along if we currently do not offer such a product.
Our growing portfolio includes BBQ Grills, Sports Equipment, Outdoor Equipment, Clothing, licensed products, Household products and much more. We are in process of loading more Office supplies including Office furniture, Chairs, Mats, Pens, Pencils, Paper etc…
We look forward to continued growth in 2009 and appreciate your patronage of American Manufacturing companies. We are reminded by experiences time and time again of why purchasing the least expensive and overseas product ends up costing more in the long run. A friend had bought a snow shovel last year and chose a low cost model that was made overseas. Just last week after less than 7 uses the handle was broken and the shovel head would swivel with snow on it. Then the plastic shovel itself completely broke off and the shovel is no longer usable. This was not an inexpensive shovel to begin with as it was purchased for $32.99. Now that the $30+ shovel is no longer usable would he buy another one and be in the same situation next year? No, he is buying an American shovel even if it requires purchasing more than 1. Which brings us to another point about our store, in order to keep pricing competitive sometimes we sell in multiples to keep shipping costs down and allow us to ship every product FREE. Many American products will end up costing less when considered the length of time they are used and the Quality of the product. We understand this is sometimes a difficult decision to choose the more expensive model but after a few examples of cheap products, such as the snow shovel, it becomes clear which product is the better deal. Not only do you get a better product and ultimately save money but your purchasing decision also has a positive impact on your community, state, country and fellow US Citizens.
On a side note: Manufacturing is a major topic of late and how it affects manufacturing workers & jobs. New automated manufacturing technology does tend to transfer jobs from line workers making the product by hand to machinists, engineers, quality engineers, software engineers, mechanics and other skilled jobs. The goal is to keep the manufacturing process within the borders even if it is done with less manufacturing workers which leads to other skilled jobs mentioned above. By keeping the manufacturing in the United States we continue to circulate money within our borders instead of sending it overseas. When we outsource manufacturing outside U.S. borders obviously that money is lost to foreign manufacturing services, whether it be with automated systems or inexpensive labor. It is possible for US companies to design and construct new manufacturing plants using the latest automated technology eliminating dozens of manufacturing workers and be beneficial to the overall US workforce. Technology is part of an evolving process just as roughly 15% of the American workforce are farmers yet harvest a surplus of food to the US and abroad. This can certainly only be done with the latest in farming equipment. Technology is not the enemy of manufacturing but rather allowing dollars to be shipped overseas for services that can be done in the United States is the major problem before us.
As always please patronize American Companies and specifically American companies that manufacture their products in the United States.

Regards,

Made In USA Warehouse
